General Information

Working Days are Monday - Friday. For an order placed on a Friday before 12pm, the next working day is Monday. For an order placed on a Friday after 12pm, the next working day is Tuesday.

Deliveries are not made on Bank Holidays (including Good Friday). The delivery will be made the next working day.

Some products are an exception to this as they are dispatched direct from our suppliers and will have a longer delivery time. If this is the case then the dispatch time will be clearly stated on the product page and Next Day Express Delivery will not be an option.

Stamps are exempt from Free Postage and Click and Collect. The details listed below around delivery 

Some Balloons are not suitable to be posted, which will be made clear on the listing.

Free local delivery (within ST13) is available on Balloon orders over £10. A time cannot be guaranteed but a preference to AM or PM can be made when ordering. We reserve the right to change the day and/or time of delivery at short notice should the need arrive. You will be contacted directly if you are to be impacted by any changes.

Delivery is available outside of ST13 for a fee. Please contact us for a quote before placing your order.


Click and Collect

All orders (except those for stamps) may be collected from our premises for free of charge.

Our opening hours are: Mon: - Fri 9am - 5.30pm, Sat: 9am - 2pm


Royal Mail Delivery

All of our items are sent using Royal Mail, (except Tracked 2-3 working days**, please see below).

If delivery is attempted by Royal Mail and nobody is in to receive the delivery, a card will be left and the package will be returned to the sorting office to await re-delivery instructions or collection.

If the package is not redirected or collected within the allotted time the package will eventually be returned to us. For an item to be re-sent, you will need to pay the delivery charges again.


Parcel Force Delivery

Items sent Tracked 2-3 working days** are sent using Parcel Force.

If delivery is attempted by Parcel Force and nobody is in to receive the delivery, a card will be left and the package will be returned to either the local Depot or your local Post Office. Please see the card left for details.

International Delivery - Please note due to the Covid Pandemic, International Delivery is taking a lot longer

Orders for overseas are all sent International Priority by Royal Mail. A reference number will be obtained that will inform us of when your item has been received.


Orders take usually 5 working days to arrive, but can take longer depending on the Destination Country's postal service.

If your order is over 2kg you will need to split your order into two transactions, as we do not post items over 2kg Internationally.

Please note we do also have size restrictions for International Shipments, we will contact you if there are any issues with your order.

It is the Buyer's responsibility to check if any Customs will be due on goods into their Country, and Gift By Post will not be held liable for any additional charges made. Gift By Post are not responsible for any import duty and taxes that may be incurred, it is the buyers responsibility to declare any such purchases.
